AirAsia X announces new KL-Christchurch route

After PARIS, next new destination for AirAsia X is NEW ZEALAND.

AirAsia X announces its latest international route from Kuala Lumpur to Christchurch, New Zealand.

From April 01, 2011 onward, AirAsia X will fly four non-stop weekly flights between the two cities.

AirAsia X is offering all-in-fare from as low as RM199 one-way from Kuala Lumpur to the new destination, Christchurch, New Zealand.

Booking period of Dec 03 to 05 and the travel period between April 01 and Nov 10, 2011.

Promotional seats available for booking at 7am Malaysia and noon for New Zealand.

Scomi Group Q3 results..... BAD !

Phew..., luckily didn't hold Scomi last week. I bought at 39.5 on Tuesday when market down, and sold it 40.5 on Thursday. Profit of a few ringgit. Initially, felt upset after selling but relief now.

The following are some highlight of the report,

Scomi Group Bhd's Q3 result which ended Sept'30 was not a pretty one, it was reported a net losses of RM166.48 million, compared to the net profit of RM22.97 million a year ago.

The company explained the losses were caused by lower revenue from core business and also there was a potential impairment which costs about RM52.6 million and a provision of RM109.7 million.

Turnover was down from last year's RM448.5 million to RM367.6 million. Major contributors are from oilfield services division and transport solutions division.

Loss per share was RM0.1199 compared with earnings per share of RM0.027.

Paris ! AirAsia X next new destination !

Good news from AirAsia X, after London, Australia, Japan, Korea and now Paris !

For those who doesn't know where is Paris, it is France capital. A romantic city !

This is the second European destination after London.

AirAsia's long-haul low fare affiliate AirAsia X will be flying to Paris with all in fare from as low as RM499 (one way) from Kuala Lumpur to Paris from Feb,14 next year onward.

AirAsia issued a statement on Thursday, 18 Nov "AirAsia X said flights for the special offer were available for booking online from Nov 22 to 24, 2010 for the four times weekly direct flights which will commence on Feb 14, 2011 between Paris-Orly International Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport's Low Cost Carrier Terminal."


Travel period for the special fare is from Feb 14 to Nov 10, 2011, it said.

Wonder which is their third city in Europe ? Madrid will be fantastic, it will be cheaper to watch Real Madrid live in their stadium.
