TENAGA Nasional Bhd ( TNB ) - Q1 Profit UP 22% !

What will happen to KLSE in this final week of Snake year?

This is the final week for Year-of-Snake but seem like market is not going to do well before Snake handover to Horse.

With DJIA dropped 300 points on friday, and other major markets also down heavily. Look like KLCI will not be spared unless there is miracle !

There are bad news all over the world, like China economy cooldown, Argentina currency down, US tapering of QE concern, and also KLSE shorten trading week with the extended long weekend for Chinese New Year and Federal Territory Day holidays.

Hopefully with the KLCI already beaten last week, the drop will be minimal.

If heavy sell-down do happen in KLSE for this week, YTL will be my targeted counter to buy if it drops below 1.50.

PJDEV WC - Set another new high !

PJ DEVELOPMENT HOLDINGS BERHAD (PJDEV) WC set another new 52 week-high of 0.505 yesterday. Previous high was created last week at 0.49.

The price has been going up steadily since September 2013. Yesterday the counter open at 0.49 from previous day or last Friday close of 0.485, gaining 0.05 and was traded in between 0.49 and 0.505. It closed at 0.495 up by 1 sen with 29,711 lots traded.

The consistency of the price appreciation could be due to rumor of merger between PJDEV with OSK and also recently selling of their building in KL area which will increase the valuation of their shares price.

Meanwhile, its mother share PJDEV also have same upward trend. Yesterday close at 1.40 up 1 sen from previous close. Its 52 week high was 1.41, also created last week.

Hopefully, both will create more new high.......

Pre-Chinese New Year Rally - 2014 !

Exactly two more weeks to go before the arrival of Horse Year. This year Chinese New Year falls on last day of January, 31 Jan 2014.

Most investors or shares market punters are waiting for this moment, a pre-Chinese New Year RALLY !

Will it happen this year? From last week traded volume, especially on lower liner counters. It seems like the rally is going to happen.

If there is no unusual negative event happen here and around the world, we might welcome the Horse Year with big ang-pow from Bursa Malaysia.

But this week the trading days in Bursa Malaysia was shorten to only three days. Two holidays, Tuesday and Friday. Hopefully there will not weaken the rally build up momentum.
